and events to make your visit enjoyable and memorable, including:

 Friends Annual Events

•  Junior Anglers Fishing Tournament —  Held in late Spring, and open to children ages 5 through 12. Bait and tackle are provided. This catch and release program offers lots of giveaways and prizes.

•  Canoe Benefit — A major Friends fund-raiser where participants enjoy
a leisurely paddle down the scenic Nissequogue River in late Summer, culminating with a delicious barbeque lunch with live musical entertainment.

•  Adult Fly Fishing Tournament — This popular October event challenges
a limited number of serious anglers who fish the pristine Nissequogue
 River, and vie for valuable prizes.
